ADOBE CONTENT EXTENSION (ACE)

Adobe Content Extension, or ACE, is an integrated tool that leverages existing tools in the Adobe Creative Suite (such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). The tool enables designers and template-makers to translate product specs into creative programs and create unique designs for consumer and business products alike. ACE is essential in enabling the normally flat concept designs to become print-ready for online consumers to customize and create material products (business cards, invitations, and more).
RESIZE + COMPOSE TOOL
CIMPRESS
Cimpress, the parent company to printing leaders such as Vistaprint and National Pen, houses vast repositories of design assets for personalization. There are innumerable designs used and created daily which each require a multitude of touch-points and hours of design. To get design templates into these galleries requires painstaking hours for individuals to ideate, create, modify and duplicate artwork across all the sizes and layouts needed for end-consumers. A single suite of products could take days and various teams across the globe to enable it to be ready and consumable.
My role was to create a tool that mass-produces original designs across various sizes and configurations based on our business team’s requirements. This resize tool would enable graphic designers to do what they do best while taking the tedious work of repetition and the risk of human error off their shoulders.
INSPIRATIONAL ARTWORK MAKER (IAM)

As a leader in the customizable artwork creation space, Cimpress heavily relies on various systems, creatives and strategists to execute the continuous creation of design assets. However, with the segregation of various sub-companies and independent directives process and output are duplicating creating a world of confusion and waste. IAM is a cross-company tool intended to allow all various partners to leverage the technological resources and asset needed for production. This transparency and opportunity for cross-pollination will create a world of symbiotic advancement. Here, in one hub, all users can submit jobs to queues, find artwork templates, track and monitor performance for value assessments and inspiration for new product creation as real teams rather than competitors.
Initially this will be an internally facing tool, however we are building in a future-minded manner to pave the way for external users to have a portal for creation in which they can create and contribute additional creative assets and which the business can leverage in collective collaborative model.

FIDELITY
Leading the reconciliation sector of Fidelity’s Money Movement experience we focused our efforts on improving existing processes that needed to evolve with their user’s needs. One of which was bank linking.
Linking a bank, especially for smaller local institutions, requires a lot of back-and-forth for our clients. They are oftentimes forced to leave their current flow and process their request through a tedious paper form.
The paper form, if accepted, is uploaded to a queue that has a timeline of over a month. Not only is this heavily manual for users but there is no tracking system to allow users to know what the status is. Did it get rejected? Has it been reviewed yet? When can I use it?
All these questions and more plague the call center as clients eagerly transition to trading with Fidelity.

Every task has connected intermediary steps that inevitably come along with it. To make dinner, you need to go grocery shopping. To pick up the kids you need to use a form of transportation to drive to them. One can not happen without the other, the same goes for our financial tasks.
To buy something you need funds, to send money there needs to be an account to send it to. The list goes on, but sometimes those tasks don’t happen if something is blocking the process.
We needed to figure out a way to enable users to be able to accomplish any task without a blocker. Enter, Context switching, a new pattern and functional capability across Fidelity.
